We suggest that you begin this tour with the most valuable monument of Roman period, the Arena, followed by a few minute walk towards the old town, where you can see Double Gates and Hercules' Gates, which are preserved as gates of the former city walls. Next to the gates you can enter Zerostrasse, an underground tunnel built in World War I that stretches beneath the large part of the city. After exiting the tunnel, you can climb the narrow streets to Kaštel where Historical and Maritime Museum is located. Beneath the museum there are remains of the Small Roman Theater right next to Archaeological Museum.

After visiting the exhibition in the museum, you can go down to promenade Giardini and walk through the Arch of the Sergii. Passing through pedestrian zone by many traditional food restaurants you will get to vivacious and antique Dante’s Square. Two minutes from there you will get to the central square of ancient and medieval Pula, Forum Square, where two preserved temples stand. Forum takes you to Kandlerova Street, city's art zone where lots of galleries, local shops and restaurants are situated. There you will also find the House of Istrian olive oil.
