Museum of Modern Art

Founded in 2008, the Museum of Modern Art is located in an old printing office building near the Pula waterfront. The building’s east wing was once a part of the military barracks built in the second half of the 19th century. As it is known, Pula is recognized for its multiculturalism. For this reason, the Museum represents the city’s haven, open to distinct expression styles of various artists. There, you will see the art ranging from the works of art created in the second half of the last century to the more recent pieces. Come and discover artworks substantial for the contemporary art development in Istria and the whole southeastern part of Europe. So far , you can stroll through permanent exhibitions of contemporary and foreign art, a collection of designs and posters, and a photography, film, and video collection.
