Luka Bijelić, Head Chef of the restaurant
After completing his education in Opatija, young Luka Bijelić from Rijeka honed his skills in kitchens across the Old Continent. He worked in Austria, Germany, England, and Ireland, where he had the opportunity to familiarize himself with various cuisines and cooking styles. He arrived in Pula from Dublin and took on the role of Head Chef at Ribarska Koliba restaurant, known for its Mediterranean flair and offerings of dishes made from fresh, predominantly local ingredients. That's exactly what inspires our chef the most, who says, "My intention is to serve quality dishes made from the freshest fish and seafood, premium aged meat cuts, and agricultural products from local producers, which will help us showcase the gastronomic richness and flavors of this region to our guests in the best possible way. Therefore, freshness, quality, and flavors are the signature of our new menu, which we proudly and joyfully present to our guests at Ribarska Koliba."
